Congratulations to Lawyers Club of San Diego on another fantastic Annual Dinner last week, as well as to the Legal Aid Society of San Diego for its spectacular Gala! Both were fun and well-attended celebrations.
Wednesday night we will celebrate our newest graduates of the SDCBA Leadership Academy. Our forthcoming late summer magazine edition will also highlight the graduates and elaborate on why the program is so valuable to our legal community.
Please register for our Servicemember Civil Relief Act panel discussion and training session on Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm. It includes 1.5 CLE hours on how you can assist our local servicemembers and the court.
Then, on Saturday night come enjoy the sand and warm weather for a Beach & Bonfire Networking Meetup, presented by the New Lawyer Division and Wellness Subcommittee. It will be held at Ski Beach and dogs are welcome after 6pm!

Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) Pro Bono Training

San Diego is the proud home to the nation’s largest concentration of military personnel and service members have unique and often complex legal issues. The SCRA is a federal law that provides protections to individuals in the military and impacts a broad array of situations from payment of rent, mortgages and loans, to child custody matters.
Ten different courts and legal organizations officially launched Justice 250: Celebrating Your Constitutional Rights. Justice 250 will take place on July 2, 2026 at 5:30 pm aboard the USS Midway Museum, and represents the largest collaboration of its kind in the history of San Diego’s legal community.
